Liqueur labels for homemade liqueur
This personal project explores the intersection of storytelling, mythology, and packaging design. The brief was to create a series of labels for homemade liqueurs produced by my partner and me, each inspired by a character from Old Norse mythology and folklore. These are two of four examples.
Goal
The goal was to develop a cohesive visual system while giving every character a distinct identity. To achieve this, I used AI-assisted image generation to establish a consistent illustrative style across the series. AI was also used to help draft the short descriptive copy featured on each label, introducing the mythological figures and their stories.
Result
The result is a collection of labels that blends traditional folklore with contemporary creative tools, turning each bottle into a small narrative object. The finished liqueurs are intended as handcrafted birthday and Christmas gifts for friends and family, making the project both a design exercise and a personal expression of craftsmanship.
