Goal
“Viertelliebe München” was created as a digital city guide designed to position Munich as an inspiring destination for modern spring city breaks. The goal was to showcase the city from a more authentic and contemporary perspective — highlighting its cultural diversity, creative energy, and distinctive neighbourhoods. Instead of focusing on traditional sightseeing routes, the experience invites users to explore Munich through curated local recommendations, from hidden cafés and independent boutiques to cultural hotspots and neighbourhood routines.
Implementation
The landing page serves as the central entry point and opens with an atmospheric Munich hero video, accompanied by an introduction centred around rediscovering Munich in springtime. A city map guides users seamlessly into the different neighbourhood experiences.
Each district was given its own thematic focus and curated atmosphere, allowing users to explore suggested day itineraries without rigid schedules — creating a more relaxed and inspiring travel experience.
